Webinar - EANS Application Training

The Colorado Department of Education is hosting a training of he new Emergency Assistance to Non-public Schools grant application.  Dthis training, they will go through the paper version of the application, EANS budget workbook and address any outstanding questions you have regarding the application process.  They will provide traiing on how the reimbursement and procurement process iwll work at a later date.

The education environment of our students, teachers, and administrators continues to be impacted by COVID-19. In that light, Dr. Patrick Haggarty will be presenting on the new Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools (EANS) as part of the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) fund available through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA) passed on December 27, 2020. GEER and EANS awards include supplemental awards and funding for non-public schools to address educational disruptions caused by COVID-19. 

 

Speaker will be Dr. Patrick Haggarty, President of FACTS Education Solutions.  Dr. Haggarty is a firm believer in the importance of a values-based education for children and families, as well as building relationships to broaden the circle of influence for private school success.

Webinar - The CARES Act and Equitable Services for Private Schools

This webinar will cover the details of the CARES Act and the programs in it that includes equitable services for privates schools.  The CARES Act provides additional funds for the State of Colorado's Department of Education and some of those emergency funds are to be used for private schools services.  George Tryfiates, from the Washington DC Government Affairs office of the Association of Christian Schools International will be presenting this webinar.  He has been instrumental in some of the pieces of the CARES Act that will help our private schools.  He will share what steps you should be taking NOW to get these services.  There will also be time for Q and A.
